Growing Up!

Mya is finally crawling! She still doesn't do it all that often, but it is progress from scooting! She normally sits on her bum then puts her arms forward and then rotates on her bum to move. It's hard to explain but it's pretty funny. We can now coax her to crawl by putting something stupid she wants too far out of reach (like a candy wrapper or string) and she moves her knees 3-4 steps forward; any further than that she gives up! For being almost 11 months you'd think she'd be taking 3-4 steps walking but I am happy she isn't too active so I don't have to chase her all day (especially while at work)! Another thing Mya likes to do now is shake her head. It is too funny but it's so hard not to laugh when I am getting after her and saying "No No!" and she shakes her head at me and smiles. She is really starting to learn and understand things, she is so much fun! She loves to clap, play with herself in the mirror, take off her socks (as seen in the picture), sneak up on Daddy, and play with ears. haha I can't believe she's almost one! What a fun year it has been!

Halloween!

"Oh I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener... cause everyone would be in love with me!" And everyone was in love with Mya dressed up as a hotdog! She was pretty darn cute and not to mention funny! Check out these pics...

Kiddie Kandids

So we got stopped in the mall on October 20th (Mya's 10 month mark) to take some free pictures at Kiddie Kandids because they were slow. Even though Mya was currently asleep we said okay... 45 minutes later we still couldn't get a good smile out of her but we called it quits. Even without a big smile, they are still cute (I'm sure they wouldn't be as cute if I had to pay for them though! haha) I had fun playing on their website and making borders for the pictures, so here you go for your entertainment pleasure...

Chores with Dad

When I cam back from visiting teaching I found Mya strapped to Scott's back helping him mow the lawn. If it was lighter and warmer I'm sure she would've helped him do the whole yard- she loved it!

Arizona!

Swimming in the nice pool at the Rio Rico Resort. Boy was it hot, reaching over 105 degrees!

We went to the wild life museum in Tuscon, posing here with mom and bear in background

With Dad and the big horn sheep...

Bobcat on ledge

We had to take a quick pit-stop on our 12 hour drive home to take a picture in from on the state tree- cactus. Mya did really well in the car, sleeping the majority of the way. Which was good until we got home at 2:00 AM and she was no longer tired! So Dad stayed up with her and watched ESPN until she fell asleep at 5:00 :)

Giddy-Up!

Mya and Dad posed for some pictures before going to the rodeo!
