Baby Update...

The first exciting news is that my bro Rob and his wife Jamie had baby Haws early this morning at 1:15! He weighed 7lbs 13 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. He is such a cute baby with TONS of black hair and cute little kissable cheeks. I sure hope our little boy is as cute. Rob and Jamie are both just so excited to have him here.
Now for an update with me and our still nameless baby... As of Monday I am dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced. Dr Willis went ahead and scheduled me to be induced on July 5th, but he didn't think I would make it that long. So we will see how early this munchkin comes. I'm excited to at least have a for sure end date! I will keep you posted, but my next post just may be with pictures of the baby! We are all so excited! :)

Pictures...

It's been a while since I've posted pictures, so here's what we've been up to... For Memorial Day we went to Thanksgiving Point's petting zoo. Mya absolutely loved it!

She loved feeding every animal and asks if she can feed them everyday. Thankfully she helps Daddy feed the dogs every night instead.

Her favorite was riding the pony. Unfortunately, the carousel at the mall just doesn't cut it anymore. She always tells us she wants to ride "that kind of pony" referring to a real one.

This donkey was so much fun to feed. He would run back and forth to eat out of our hands. Mya loved it, when most of the other kids were too afraid.

Our cute family...

So Mya loves to play with her Little People (which are actually Grandma Curtis' but she's now claimed them as hers). She loves to line them all up and they have to be in the same direction. If we turn one the wrong way she freaks out. Just a funny little fetish of hers.

Notice the top picture they are all facing her, then the bottom picture they are all facing out. haha

Crazy Lady

I had to write the post down before I forgot about it. In some ways this blog is Mya's little memory book or journal of funny things she says or does. So last night just before we were to say prayers and put Mya to sleep, we had a "Crazy Lady" debate. A few months back Scott would call Mya a crazy lady in a funny Chinese accent and she would laugh and laugh. Now Mya will fight back and call you a crazy lady and point right in your face. The way she says "crazy lady" is so funny. So we were all going back and forth calling Daddy, Mommy, and Mya crazy lady and just giggling. We settled down for prayer and Mya began as usual... "Heavenly Father, prayer, thank you." Then she repeats it a couple times before Scott or I step into help. Scott says, "Thank you for mommy and daddy" and Mya repeats, "Thank you for mommy crazy lady, daddy crazy lady." I busted out laughing and could not control my giggles through the remainder of her prayer! She just cracks me up. She is getting better at saying the prayers all by herself, and when we prompt her to say more she tries to cut it short by saying "Christ, amen" after everything we ask her to repeat. It amazes me how quickly she is picking up on new things...
Another funny thing this morning... At about 7:00 I hear this thud and Mya crying; sure enough I go into her room and she has fallen off her bed while sleeping! I pick her up and bring into our bed and she falls back asleep for another hour. The first thing she says when she wakes up, "Mom, fell out of bed and hit head," as she rubs her forehead, "Darn it!" (She loves to say darn it when ever something bad happens.) Ohh what a "crazy lady" I have for a little girl. We love her to pieces!!!
