Camille's Wedding

Here's some fun pictures from the little sis' wedding on the 21st...

Mya loves to smell flowers

Mya with my parents...

Before the reception...

During the reception... Poor Camille had thrown up that morning (luckily not as bad as Jordan who was sick all day and didn't make it to the temple) but she seemed to be okay at the temple and luncheon. After a half hour into the reception she started getting sick again. She and Josh left the line for over 30 minutes to try and cool her down and calm her stomach. (Meanwhile we stood inline with no bride or groom, it was a little weird...) She finally came back with a shade shirt under her dress so she could undo the zipper, and then sat in the chair the rest of the time. Josh was so good to her, I think I'll let her marry him now... Oh wait too late! haha
Making the most of the situation :)

Oh these next 2 pics make me laugh. I had to post both cause Shawna's face is hilarious in this one but you can't see Camille- which was the whole purpose of us making fun of her! :)
Me with my big sisters
The cute center pieces Camille made on her own.
Mya playing in the pond. It's a family "tradition" to have our wedding receptions at Grandma Durfey's house. 6 out of the 7 weddings have been here.
Oh how we've missed Ren's sense of humor this summer- Goof ball. And you wonder why he's the only single one left in the family! haha jk Ren but honestly you've been home from the mish for a year now! ;)

Cutting the cake...
Again Josh was sweet to Camille and didn't shove it in her face like she did to him. I'd like to know if he would have had she not been sick! :)All in all it was a great day with perfect weather. It was so nice to have the whole family together. You never realize how much you miss them until they leave again... Welcome to the fam Josh!

Nursery???

So 2 weeks ago while I was talking to Mya she puts her fingers in her ears and just laughs, nodding her head back in forth in the "na-na-na-na" fashion. I thought where in the world did she learn that from??? Then the next Monday as I was feeding her peaches, she opened her mouth to show me her her chewed up food and laughed at herself. Again I wondered where did she learn that? That's when it hit me... Nursery!!! I could not think of any other logical place where she would have learned these "new tricks" than by her own peers at church during her first 2 weeks of nursery. I will admit it made me laugh both times, but we are in it for the long haul if she picks up on things that quickly!

Summer Fun!

Here's some pics of the summer fun we've had the past 2 weeks. We went to the Riverton Demolition Derby with one of Scott's high school buddies; Matt, Steph, and their baby Adison.

It was a good derby with a lot of good hits and a couple of fires. Mya loved it too!

Adi and Mya enjoying their suckers. They are cute playing together...

Here is Mya playing at G-ma Curtis'. Instead of picking up the sand with the shovel, she picks it up with her hand then puts it in the shovel. She loves playing in the sand.

She also loves to push the lawn mower everywhere. It's a good thing there are 2 of them so the kids don't have to fight over them! :)

This is how Mya sleeps. I was finally able to capture a picture of it the other day when she woke up at 6:00 then fell back asleep in our bed. The funny thing is, that is how I would fall asleep when I was little!

We finally pulled out the new pool Scott bought for Mya. She absolutely loved it!

My parents just got back from Fiji and bought all the grand girls a hula outfit. I'm waiting for the group picture of all the girls, but Mya loves putting it on. She refused at first while at grandma's but now every time she sees it she wants to put it on. She makes me laugh.

Introducing Tess!

Here is our new puppy Tess; Scott's huntin' dog and Mya's "woof." Tess is pretty darn cute with those big floppy ears. Mya just loves playing with her, even when she jumps up on her and knocks her over. But I think Scott likes playing with her even more! He's been wanting a dog forever and has been preparing for one for months now. Here are some cute pictures...

More Mya!

I forgot I had more pictures and video on our camcorder of Mya being silly. So here's some more to add from my previous post...

Here is Mya playing dress up with her crown and crazy glasses. She is at such a fun age that everything she does is just so funny. I have to make sure I have my camera handy at all times to capture such cute moments!

With today being Father's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to show these new pictures of Mya playing with her Daddy! She is such a Daddy's girl! The minute he gets home from work Mya is right on his heels following him wherever he goes. Scott is such a good dad!

Here's my favorite part of this post. I finally got Mya to sit down in front of the camera and do all the actions to the songs she loves to sing. I hope you get as big of a laugh out of it as I do! (Well probably not since I'm her mom, but at least it will make you smile!)

Mya- the sweet, the crazy, and everything in between!

Where do I begin? I'll just post all the pictures I've taken over the past 2 weeks with little comments about what our little girl has been up to... But beware, this is a long post!!!

Here is Mya throwing her toy underneath the gate and then trying to weasel her way under the gate to get it. She was getting frustrated at me for taking pictures and not taking the gate down for her. It was kind of funny.

And here she is getting into the cupboard to pull out all my tupperware. This is a daily event, and for some reason she loves the cool whip container! haha This video of her makes me laugh.

Now here she is "helping me" with the laundry. She loves to pull the clothes, towels, socks, or anything that is in the basket out and then roll around on them. She will transfer the clothes from one room to the other, or put the towels on her head and just sit there for long periods of time. It does work as a distraction if I have multiple baskets of laundry to fold, if not it becomes three times the chore to get them done! She is such a goof ball...

Sitting in the new dog house dad built. I have a feeling we'll have an actual dog in there soon...

We had to take advantage of the nice sunny day since they have been hit a miss the last 4 weeks. We had fun playing in the yard and looking at our pretty flowers.
Mya loves to play in the dirt.

And to pick the flowers. :)

Me and my sweet baby girl

I had some fun taking close-up pictures of of the flowers in our yard. This new camera is pretty amazing

Where's Mya?

Peek-a-boo!

Mya's "Silly Face"

Chubby Cheeks!

Mya's "Excited Face"

Building our first fort from the couch cushions

Mya was too scared to go in by herself. So I got a picture of her just outside of it then some of us inside together. (You have to improvise in taking pictures when dad is still at work!)

We had a lot of fun! I love playing with my little buddy!
