So yes it has now been over two months since I last posted and it's not been due to the fact of not having to blog about- it's been quite the opposite actually. Four letters sum up the last 8+ weeks B-U-S-Y!!! Here is a very quick run down of what has happened in that time frame: Mason rolling over, Mya and Scott's birthdays, Christmas, Mason's first tooth, New Years, Mya into primary, Mason's teeth number 2,3,4 and now almost 5, Scott back in school (on top of the full and part time jobs), and me working 30 or more hours/week. Phew! It gives me a headache thinking about all of it, so I'm now just going to post a bunch of random pictures detailing what I've missed...
A few funny stories that I want to write down about Mya... She absolutely loved Christmas and keeps thinking Santa is going to come again. She always asks me how many more days until Christmas and doesn't quite understand how long she has to wait until next December. Just the other morning she wanted to watch Mickey Mouse's Christmas. As she was laying on my bed she says, "Mom, I'm still tired." I said, "Okay just lay down." She pops her head back up, "Mom don't touch me, don't wake me up until Santa gets here." I laughed and said "Okay..." Then she adds, "And I want lots of toys!" Ohh what a character. She again told me just yesterday, "Mom, why didn't Santa come?!? I want him to still bring me that big horse that bounces up and down!" (like the own her cousin Sage got). It's going to be a looonnnggg countdown to Christmas at this rate!
This past Sunday Mya's primary teacher, Sis Peterson, ask "Why do we pray?" And Mya's first response was, "So Daddy doesn't get mad at me"
Just last night as Scott was leaving to go to school Mya says, "But Dad, I thought you were going to stay home with me and run around?" Scott replies, "I wish I could, but if I don't go to class I'll do bad on my test and then would fail the class." Then Mya's suggests her brilliant idea, "Then why don't you just quit?!?" Scott and I just started laughing. We often wonder where she learns to use new words in a proper sentence. She is cracking us up all the time. My new favorite phase of hers is "Mom, do you know I love you?" :)
Well hopefully my next post won't take me so long, but if it does I'm sure this post has enough pictures to hold you over! Til next time!!!
