Diggin'

Last Friday we took a trip around the south end of Utah Lake, then went "diggin" in Scott's truck. It was fun to get out of the house and to enjoy the nice sunny day. Mya thought it was pretty fun to sit up by mom and dad and to be able to look out the window. Scott wished it was muddy so his truck would have gotten all dirty, I'm just glad we came home in one piece and the truck still running! haha (You'll know what I mean by the pictures...)

Update

So I know it's been a while since my last post (sorry Sarah!) Life has just been crazy busy with work, being a mom, and the usual house chores that never go away! So a few new things to blog about... I am now 24. Sigh- I'm no longer "just out of high school" although I still feel like it! Scott bought me a wicked nice new digital camera so my pics will no longer be dark and blurry! I have been taking pictures like crazy- you'll see some shortly. Nothing really new to report with the house. We had a couple go through on Saturday that really liked it, so we're crossing our fingers. Alright, I'm not good at just writing so I'll just start throwing in the pics now...

Here's some cute pics from Easter. Mya didn't really understand the whole egg hunt concept but she just loved being outside and carrying the basket everywhere!

So I taught Mya a cool trick of raising her eyebrows. :) I finally captured it on camera! She is too cute!

Mya's update... I took her in for her 15 month check up Wednesday. She only weighs 19 lbs 1 oz which is in the 5th percentile. Her height percentile dropped from 24th to 3rd, and her head is in the 75th percentile! haha Yeah, she's all brains! So the other day she was playing in her room while I was folding laundry. I went to check on her and this is how I found her... She makes me laugh. I love being a mom!

So my wonderful husband bought me a part for our computer for Valentines so I can now download home videos to share with family and friends! I am sure you'll be seeing a lot more videos on our blogspot now. Mya is finally walking but she is still a scaredy cat and prefers to hold onto something. This was Saturday morning so she's not fully dressed and ready for the day, but she's still cute. :)

Here are some cute pictures I recently took with her hair all curled. Her hair is fun to play with (yes mom, I just said I enjoyed doing her hair. I'm a little surprised too! haha) The last picture she is blowing me a kiss.

Now Who?!?

So we were dead set on Mitt Romney for President, but unfortunately with his withdrawal
and the Republican Party's nomination most likely going to McCain, we're back at square one for our 2008 presidential candidate (haha that rhymed :) ) So if you're in the same situation as us, might I suggest checking out this website that I was introduced to by my friend's blog (thanks Tom and Bethany).
